There are two poles in any energetic or magnetic exchange: the positive pole and the negative pole. The masculine principle is the positive pole, or the mountain from which energy dissipates towards the more yin valley. While we can understand masculinity in and of itself, I would like to look at the astrological statistics regarding men who are in long-term heterosexual relationships today as well as the definition of the term "husband material."
In order to determine which placements bestow upon men not only a blessed sexual and marital union, but also an innate understanding of the masculine principle, I gathered the birth data on 130 men in long-term marriages/relationships (15+ years). These relationships either still exist or have only ever ended with the death of one of the spouses. I purposely included a sizable number of celebrities in my analysis, as the temptations and decisions that come with being extremely wealthy and glamorous add a level of difficulty that most people do not encounter in their daily lives.
Note: This research is based on sidereal Vedic astrology. Western/tropical placements, principles and interpretations do not apply to it.
In Part 2 of this blogpost, we are going to explore the following-
Special house and sign for general blessings
Overall Lowest Sign
11th House and Aquarius - Desires, Social Support, Blessings
The 11th house was the top house placement for Sun and Rahu. It was the 2nd highest house placement for Moon, Mercury and Venus. Ultimately, it was the topmost placement for all the planets combined.
Aquarius, as the natural 11th house of the zodiac, was the top sign for Mercury and shared the spot for top sign placement for Sun, Rahu and Ketu.

The 11th house rules one's desires and wishes. In tantra, 'love' is essentially a man's astral sexual desire projected into maya/matter and his relentless pursuit of it. It is a man's desire and not a woman's, because the man embodies the phallic, projecting force while the woman is the maya being pursued. Men naturally compete with one another for a woman's affection, much way an egg waits for sperm to find it. The fact that the 11th house is associated with a desire for marriage and marital bliss lends credence to it.
A strong 11th house in a man's birth chart indicates that he would be able to fulfill his desires through the company of a pleasant woman. This fulfilment happens due to his attempts to pursue in the first place, represented by the inner planets (Moon, Sun, Venus, Mercury) and Rahu in the 11th house. Rahu represents our fate, whereas the inner planets represent the general theme of our lives.
The ability to obtain significant support from the people and the network circle is represented by the planets in the 11th house and Aquarius. A man can achieve success in all of his material and spiritual endeavors with the aid of these amassed blessings. His network circle is as strong as his ability to dream and realize anything he wants. This makes him stand out from the competitors and increases the possibility that a woman will choose him.

In ancient times, those who lived in supportive groups had a higher chance of surviving. In today's world, loneliness is on the rise, with the main cause of misery being a lack of support, either desired or not. A man's community can provide resources and support when the 11th house is strong. In order to look broadly rather than narrowly on the current circumstance, this man also possesses the willingness to let go of his ego and move forward with the group. There is a lot of pressure on a man when he feels that he must do everything by himself since he does not want or need a community. His incapacity to gather yang energy from friends and a community is partially to blame for this. A man who is deficient in yang energy is more inclined to turn to his female partner for it, placing himself in a receptive feminine role and upsetting the biological equilibrium of the relationship.
One's elder siblings are also represented by the 11th house. Those in your network circle with more power than you could also be thought of as your "elder siblings" in a cosmic sense. This does not necessarily have to be a person with a generalized higher power. Even your peers and acquaintances who are on the same level as you might act as a temporary higher power for you during difficult times, much like your "older siblings."

As a fixed air sign, Aquarius corresponds to the King of Swords in tarot. He is an intelligent, sensible man who is motivated more by his stable, logical mind than by his primal instincts. The sword he is holding straight is a symbol for "having a spine" and sticking to your own principles. The sword stands for an essential sternness that pierces deceit. He is not an overly sensitive or forgiving person at his own expense. He is the wise and astute monarch with powerful ideas, as it is only with sound ideas that one may overcome difficult circumstances. The other kings- pentacles, wands, and cups- are lavishly dressed in vibrant jewellery and clothes. To further convey extravagance, they heavily employ gold in their thrones, clothing, and artwork. The airy King of Swords, on the other hand, is clad in an extremely basic robe. He does not wear jewellery or have any ostentatious influences on his physique. If it were not for his crown, one would not even be able to discern that he is a king. This demonstrates his non-materialistic traits and the fact that he just depends on his thoughts and knowledge. His power is formed by his inner traits, and he has no inclination to flaunt his wealth. His crown, the lone piece of gold in this artwork, stands for his kingship, intelligence, and a robust, logical mind.
The Lowest Sign - Cancer
Cancer was the lowest sign for Moon, Sun, Mercury, and Venus. It was also the lowest sign overall.

Because the energy of the water sign of Cancer is more in line with the feminine principle, men with planets in this sign tend to struggle in heterosexual relationships. It tends to make a man more emotionally closed off, finicky, and receptive. It matches the tarot Queen of Cups card, the most feminine of the court cards, as a cardinal water sign. Conversely, air signs were evidently more prominent in this study and are seen to be more masculine. While the sign of Cancer is very prominent in more intuition-based spiritual pursuits for both genders, it was overall the lowest sign for men in long term heterosexual relationships.
