In a spiritual sense, there is no concept of judgment, no such thing as 'flaws'. These 'flaws' that you see in others may be something that you have labelled as flaws within yourself. These traits that we project onto others — are expressions of our own shadow. Symbolically, these are represented by monsters, beasts, titans, and ancient creatures.

Rahu is about the future, innovation, and what lies ahead. But although Shatbhisha is ruled by Rahu, it sits in the sattvic tier, the final stage of the soul’s evolution.

Here, the soul makes peace with what it once resisted. Shatbhisha learns that to truly move forward, we must look back. To build an ideal future, we must study the past. For natural selection, we need to be the fittest, and for that we must determine what makes certain traits stronger than others.

Rahu and the natural 11th house of Aquarius rule social media and collective connectivity. It brings the realization, for example, that when someone likes or dislikes another person on social media or in their social circle, it may not be about the other person at all. It may be an admiration or harsh inner judgment of something buried within themselves.

Shatbhisha is deeply concerned with the evolution of society as a whole. Often called “the Watcher,” this nakshatra observes from a distance — but being in the sattvic stage, it slowly learns to move beyond mere judgment.

Unlike the other Rahu-ruled nakshatras Ardra or Swati, which may try to fix or challenge society, Shatbhisha begins to recognize a deeper truth. It starts to see parts of the collective within the self and learns to accept them.

Unfavourable situations are not some sort of debt you have to pay off.

You are actively creating a future through your actions. Your future could go in many directions, but through your actions, you are choosing one out of the many possible outcomes.

You do not need to experience a situation to learn a lesson. The lesson is to not get into that situation in the first place. If you know fire will burn you, would you stick your hand in it just to prove you’ve learned that fire is dangerous? No. The universe is far more intelligent than you are. Simply saying no sends the message that you’re done with a pattern.

Once you refuse to engage, that situation will never repeat in your life—that’s the real lesson. Getting into it ‘one last time’ is actually telling the universe, I have not learned my lesson.
